The results of the pilot studies are encouragingand it is considered that the approach can be implemented throughout the country at affordablecosts and within a relative short timeframe. Approximately 10 million land parcels are under informal tenure and outside the formal cadaster.
Families under such informal tenure are highly vulnerable to eviction due to unsecured land tenure. This step includes both an assessment of the current state and a reprioritization to the targeted future state.
